As indicated in <br /> I Column 12 of Table 2, all of the culverts have capacities exceeding <br /> that required to handle the peak flow from.a 10-year/24-hour storm. <br /> In all but five cases, the actual culvert capacities are more than <br /> double the required design capacities. <br /> Erosion of soil into the drainage channels will be controlled where <br /> necessary by seeding of the cut slopes and roadway embankment <br /> slopes with native grasses, shrubs and/or trees.
