This also assumes that the rock
face is worked at 1:1 slope leaving a face that does not need
sloping if mining ends prematurely. The overburden slope is
based on an average depth of 15 feet at 3:1 and 500 feet long.
All other slope grading would be completed as mining progresses.
The following information depicts a time shown on Map
Exhibit C -1 Mining Plan Map, when the disturbance will be limited
to 6.00 acres or less. The table below outlines the various
areas of disturbance at that time. This is an attempt to set the
bond so there is flexibility to operate the mine without reevalu-
ating the bond yearly.
According to our scenario, we will have to place 10841 cubic
yards of crusher fines as root zone and respread 5397 cubic yards
of soil on 6.00 acres of disturbed area; and revegetate 6.00 ac.
±. The amount of soil that will be re- spread is based on an
average of 6 inches and the depth of the root zone would be 12
inches average. Our cost estimate to do all of the shaping and
soiling in this cost estimate is based on using a Caterpillar
627G scraper for resoiling and root zone placement, and a Cater-
pillar 140G motor grader to prepare the seedbed after resoiling
is complete. A Caterpillar D6 -T is used for sloping. The actual
equipment used by the permittee may differ. These figures are
then used in the calculations for the bond amount. The revegeta-
tion cost figure includes grass seed, mulch, chemical fertilizer
(ammonium nitrate & superphosphate) and seed drilling costs. The
mobilization number is for a round trip from the Trinidad area
(12.5 miles one way.)
EXHIBIT
72
EXHIBIT L
LAMATION COSTS (cont)
