Exhibit 19(20)
UPLAND DIVERSION DITCHES
D18 and D26
Potable Water Tank Area
Installation of the potable water tank interfered with ditch D18. About 575 feet of D18
east of the potable water tank is no longer functional. To minimize the drainage area
flowing to Pond 7, D26 will be extended about 425 feet to the west to intercept most of
the drainage that was flowing to the affected section of D18 as shown on Map 13 Sheet
1. The extension of D26 to the west increases its drainage area by 1.26 acres.
Reclamation of 575 feet of D18 will add 0.47 acres to the drainage area for Pond 7.
The drainage area for D18 will be reduced by 1.73 acres. The following notes show
that these drainage modifications are not significant.
Notes:
1. Reclaimed drainage ditch D18 will have a curve number of 87.
2. The run -off from the 0.47 additional acres flowing to Pond 7 with a curve
number of 87 and a storm event of 3 inches is 0.07 AF.
3. Pond 7 has a capacity of 9.2 acre feet (PAP Section 2.05.3(4)) so the addition of
0.07 AF is not significant.
4. A berm will be constructed along west side of the potable water tank to direct
drainage from the tank to Pond 7.
5. The drainage area for D26 increases by 1.26 acres as a result of this change.
6. D26 has a drainage area of 52.7 acres (Table 20).
7. The 1.26 acres of addition drainage area for D26 is not considered significant.
8. The 1.73 acre reduction in the drainage area for D18 is positive.
The information press
and the information p
ENGINEER'S CERTIFICATION
fired by me during the month of March 2012,
rrect to the best of my knowledge and belief.
• 1 3 *'
Ja ', Stover, *i,,
Registered gineer
State of Co1'df & 19230
MR -111 Page EXH. 19(20) -1
Date
03/23/2012
