Everist, Incorporated has filed <br />an application amendment to their <br />Reclamation Permit with the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation <br />Board under the provisions of the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation <br />Act for the extraction of construction <br />materials. The mine is known as <br />the Fort Lupton Sand and Gravel <br />Mine (permit # M- 1999 -120) and is <br />located in parts of Sections 19, 30 & <br />31, T-2-NJ, R -66 -W and parts of <br />Sections 25 & 36, T -2 -N, R -67 -W, <br />6th Principal Meridian, Weld County, <br />Colorado. <br />The date of commencement for this <br />mine was 1999 and the proposed <br />date of completion December 2050. <br />The proposed future use of the land <br />is as developed water storage. <br />Additional information and the <br />tentative decision date may be <br />obtained from the Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining & Safety, 1313 <br />Sherman St., Suite 215, Denver, CO <br />80203 (303) 866 -3567, or at the <br />Weld County Clerk to the Board's <br />office, 1150 "O" St., Greeley, <br />Colorado 80632, or the above <br />named applicant. <br />Comments must be in writing and <br />must be received by the Division of <br />Minerals and Geology by 4:00 p.m. <br />on May 15, 2012. <br />Please note that comments related <br />to noise, truck traffic, hours of <br />operation, visual impacts, effects on <br />property values and other social or <br />economic concerns are issues not <br />subject to this Office's jurisdiction. <br />These subjects and similar ones, <br />are typically addressed by your local <br />governments, rather that the <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining & <br />Safety or the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board. <br />L.G.
