Pineda <br />Director <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to Approve with conditions an <br />application for a coal mining and reclamation permit. The application was submitted by Western Fuels — <br />Colorado, LLC on September 28, 2010, for the New Horizon North Mine. In accordance with Rule <br />2.07.4(2)(c) of the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, <br />we are providing notice of this proposed decision. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal <br />hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within thirty (30) days of the first publication of this <br />notice in the San Miguel Basin Forum. <br />The surface mine is located approximately 2.5 miles northwest of Nucla, and is further described as follows: <br />Township 47 North, Range 16 West, New Mexico Principal Meridian <br />Section 25: W 1/2 <br />Section 36: Portions of the NW 1/4 and the NW 1/4 NW 1/4 SW 1/4 <br />Copies of the permit application are available for public review in the Division offices at the above address <br />and at the Montrose County Clerk and Recorder's Office.
