Colorado pikeminnow (Ptychocheilus lucius) <br />• due to the possible occurrence of Colorado pikeminnow in the Colorado River, which <br />receives tributary waters from the project area and an estimated water depletion amount <br />of 42.33 acre -feet per year with a maximum amount in the range of 51.26 acre -feet per <br />year, the New Horizon North mining activities may effect, and is likely to adversely <br />affect the Colorado pikeminnow. <br />Greenback Cutthroat trout (Oncorhynchus clarki stomias) <br />• since drainage from the New Horizon North Mine permit area does not enter the South <br />Platte and Arkansas River drainages, the mining activity will not affect the Greenback <br />Cutthroat trout. <br />Humpback chub (Gila cypha) <br />• due to the possible occurrence of Humpback chub in the Colorado River, which receives <br />tributary waters from the project area and an estimated water depletion amount of 42.33 <br />acre -feet per year with a maximum amount in the range of 51.26 acre -feet per year, the <br />New Horizon North mining activities may effect, and is likely to adversely affect the <br />Humpback chub. <br />Razorback sucker (Xyrauchen texanus) <br />• due to the possible occurrence of Razorback sucker in the Colorado River, which receives <br />tributary waters from the project area and an estimated water depletion amount of 42.33 <br />acre -feet per year with a maximum amount in the range of 51.26 acre -feet per year, the <br />New Horizon North mining activities may effect, and is likely to adversely affect the <br />Razorback sucker. <br />Clay- loving wild buckwheat (Eriogonum pelinophilum) <br />• Due to a lack of suitable habitat and limited species range, the New Horizon North <br />mining activities will have no affect the Clay- loving wild buckwheat. <br />Colorado hookless Cactus (Sclerocactus glaucus) <br />• due to a lack of suitable habitat on or near the New Horizon North Mine, the New <br />Horizon North mining activities will not affect the Colorado hookless cactus. <br />Black - Footed ferret (Mustela nigripes) <br />• since there was no suitable Black- Footed ferret habitat identified on or adjacent to the <br />permit area and no Black - Footed ferrets have been documented within or adjacent to the <br />New Horizon North mining area, the New Horizon North mining activities will not <br />affect the Black- Footed ferret. <br />Canada Lynx (Lynx canadensis) <br />• since there was no suitable lynx habitat identified on or adjacent to the permit area and <br />no lynx have been documented within or adjacent to the New Horizon North mining <br />area, the New Horizon North mining activities will not affect the Canada lynx. <br />
