Litigation of these matters would be lengthy and costly to the parties <br /> and to the Court. <br /> 5. Accordingly, the parties respectfully request that this Court vacate the schedule set <br /> forth in the Second Interim Case Handling Order, and to stay further proceedings pending <br /> negotiations between the parties. The parties are hopeful that discussions will lead to <br /> resolution of all issues pending in this case or at the very least, will lead to resolution of some <br /> of the issues. Such request will therefore save this Court's time and resources, and will allow <br /> the parties to use their resources toward the accomplishment of reclamation. <br /> 6. The parties will file monthly status reports concerning the progress of their <br /> negotiations.
