A.D., 20 \ bee 1-rn$ REcotED 9,m-t4 APR 3 0 2012 DNtsion of rttctonetio Mining and Safety Public Notice NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety proposes to Approve Permit Renewal Application No. 4 (RN -4), submitted by Honeywood Coal Company for a coal mining permit at the Hamilton Mine (Permit No. C- 1991 -078). The pro- posed renewal will allow for continued mining and/ or reclamation operations at the site. The Hamilton Mine is'iocated In Montrose County, approximately 3 mlles,SE of, • aturita, Colorado, Colorado. Coal interest at•this - Surface mine is Private, and the surface to be affected is Private land. The permit area encompasses - approximately 757.00 acres. This proposed decision is based on a finding that the proposed operation will comply with all requirements of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act, Section 3433101 at seq., C.R.S., and the regu- lations promulgated thereunder. A copy of the„ Proposed Decision and Findings of Compliance ", including any stipulations, is on file for public inspection at the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, Room 215 i Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, and at the Montrose County Clerk's Office, P.O. Box 1289, Montrose, CO 81402. Persons with an interest that may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board on the proposed decision. Such request must be made within thirty (30) days at the initial publica- tion of this notice, must be in writing, and must state with reasonable specificity the reasons for the request and the objections to the proposed decision.
