The April 14, 2012 DRMS cover letter describes the release <br />request as "a request for full reclamation responsibility release for the 25th Avenue site, permit <br />#M2002- 020 ". However; the attached Figure 1 showing the release area indicates that all that <br />is being proposed for release is the narrow inlet channel that runs north -south along the east <br />side of 35th Avenue. The drawing indicates that the proposed release area is approximately 33 <br />feet wide. <br />Weld County has no objection to the release of the narrow inlet channel. At the time of actual <br />full permit release of the hourglass- shaped pit lake of the 25th Avenue 112c gravel pit, we <br />recommend that any changes to the Cache La Poudre floodplain be presented to FEMA. <br />We thank you for the opportunity of comment.
