Renner
Division of Minerals & Geology
State of Colorado
1313 Sherman Street, Suite 215
Deliver, CO 80203
Re: Sale of Rock Dust Plant
Dear Mr. Renner:
Submitted herewith is revised Proposal by Pete Lien &
Sons, Inc. to purchase the Rock Dust Plant and surrounding real
estate for $410,000. This Proposal was received by Fax at 4:00
p.m. , January 7, 1994 and by mail on January 9, 1994. Mr. Lien
called inquiring about the offer, and thereafter determined that
the Proposal, which had been sent by mail, was returned to sender
for insufficient address. Hence the delay.
On January 5 Mr. Phil Palmer of Diamond K Gypsum,
Richfield, Utah examined the Rock Dust Plant with a view to
possibly offering to purchase the same.
On January 6, 1994 Mr. Robert F. Kohl, Senior Project
Manager from Chemstar Lime with offices in Scottsdale, Arizona also
toured the Plant with a view to possibly offering to purchase the
equipment.
On the same day, Mr. Jim Kelley, Vice President, Geology
for the same company from Ft. Worth, Texas toured the Limestone
Quarry, reviewed drilling logs and other information concerning the
limestone deposit, its quality, permits and the like with a view of
possible re-activation of the limestone claims.
The latter two prospects were the result of contacts by
Machinery and Equipment Company, who would expect a commission in
the event of sale.
