Reclamation Permit Application Package
Dear Mr. Slate:
STATE OF COLORADO
On April 11, 2012, the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) received the 112
Construction Materials Reclamation Permit Application package for the Pawnee Aggregate Pit,
File No. M- 2012 -014. Review of the information submitted by the Applicant determined the
following items must be received before the Division can consider the application as being
submitted and technical review can begin:
Application Form:
1. On Page 2, the Applicant did not provide quarter section and quarter /quarter section
information and provided two section numbers for Item #9 on the application form. Based on
Exhibit A — Legal Description and Exhibit B - Survey Map submitted in the application package,
the Division believes the proper location information is; Section 30, Quarter Section "SE" and
Quarter /Quarter Section "SW ".
Please review the location information for the center of the area where the majority of
mining will occur and revise the application form accordingly.
Exhibit R - Proof of Filing with County Clerk (Rule 6.4.18):
2. Please provide an affidavit or receipt indicating the date on which the revised application
form information indicated above was placed with the local County Clerk and Recorder.
The application will not be considered submitted until the information listed above is received
and found sufficient to begin our review. A decision date will be established 90 days from the
date of receipt of all of the requested information. Additionally, if you have already published
notice you will need to republish notice, after the Division considers the application submitted.
This notice must be published once a week for four (4) consecutive weeks, starting within ten (10)
days of the date your application is considered submitted. We will notify you when you should
initiate republication of your notice. The final date for receiving comments is the 20th day after
the fourth publication or the next regular business day.
