The low to moderately <br /> low organic matter percentage is normal for these semi-arid soils. <br /> Nutrient availability will be slightly reduced (except calcium and <br /> molybdenum) due to the mildly alkaline pH. Nutrients most affected <br /> would include manganese, zinc, iron, and aluminum, all minor ele- <br /> ments. This respread topsoil material will make a good seedbed <br /> and will also provide a good root growth medium. <br />
