Application for Minor Revision Installation of Gas Line across Reclaimed Land Permit No. C- 1981 -041 Dear Mr. Boulay: On behalf of Snowcap Coal Company, Inc., enclosed is an application for a minor revision to add the location of a new 2" natural gas line to be installed at the South Portal in May 2012. The gas line, as depicted on revised Exhibit 6C, is approximately 940' in length, originating at Xcel's high pressure tap which is located next to the on -ramp at Interstate 70, Exit 46. The installation of the gas line will re- disturbed an area approximately 240' long by 5' wide across the reclaimed Pond 8 area. Once the line has been installed and covered, the new disturbance will be re- seeded with the permanent seed mixture shown on Table 14 -8. The area to be re- disturbed was originally reclaimed and seeded in October 2011. Exhibit 6C has also been revised by removing the "Disturbed Area" designation from acreages that have achieved a Phase III Bond release from the Division.
