NOTICE OF BLASTING SCHEDULE
NUCLA MINE
The Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act of 1979 (34-33-101 et seq.) and the Rules
and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, and in
particular Rule 4.08.3, requires all surface coal mines detonating five (5) pounds of
explosives or blasting agent to publish a schedule of blasting in accordance with the
above-stated regulatory requirements.
In accordance with these requirements, the Nucla Mine, located near Nucla, Colorado hereby
provides public notice of the planned blasting schedule for the area(s) described below.
1. Blasting Area(s)
1.A. Specific Area - The center of (Blasting Area No. 1) is located in:

County: Montrose Range: West
Latitude: North Section:
Longitude: West Meridian: New Mexico Principal
This blasting area will encompass a regularly shaped area approximately feet easterly
and westerly and feet northerly and southerly from the above-defined center.

County: Montrose Range: West
Latitude: North Section:
Longitude: West Meridian: New Mexico Principal
This blasting area will encompass an irregularly shaped area approximately feet
easterly and westerly and feet northerly and southerly from the above-defined
center.
2. Dates and Times
