This operation is consistent with the post mining land use plan. The ditch was not finished at <br />the time of this inspection and still needed to be re- graded and seeded. <br />The ditch along the main haul road appeared to be stable. <br />Loadout Facility - The highway and loadout ponds were dry. <br />ROADS — Rule 4.03 Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.032(3) Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) Surfacing and <br />Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />All roads in the east mine area were in good condition. The road to the ROM area was in good condition. <br />The three entrances and roads at the loadout were in good condition. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br />There were no signs of rills or gullies forming in the backfilled areas of the east mine. The reclamation at <br />the ROM had no cracks or signs of slumping. <br />REVEGETATION — Rule 4.15 Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br />The vegetation is starting to sprout with the warm spring weather. Plants were too small to identify at the <br />time of inspection. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS — Rule 4.02: <br />One disturbance boundary marker needs to be re- installed at the west mine. This marker was pointed out <br />to Basil Bear.
