COMPLIANCE INFORMATION
Pursuant to Section 510 (c) of the Surface Mining Control and
Reclamation Act of 1977 and the applicable regulations there-
under, including 30 CFR §778 . 14 , the attached is a listing of
each violation notice received by the applicant, its sub-
sidiaries , affiliates or persons controlled by or under common
control with the applicant in connection with any surface coal
mining operation for the period August 16 , 1984 to August 15,
1987, for violations of any law, rule, or regulation of the
United States, or of any State law, rule or regulation enacted
pursuant to Federal law, rule or regulation, or of any provision
of the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 ,
pertaining to air or water environmental protection. The
attached contains a statement regarding each violation notice
including the following information in the numerical order shown:
(1) The date of issuance and identity of the issuing
regulatory authority, department or agency;
(2) A brief description of the particular violation alleged
in the notice;
