Please revise Exhibit 7-1 to show elevations of all water <br /> monitoring stations to comply with Rule 2.04.7(4)(b) . <br /> Response: <br /> The ground surface elevations for ground water monitoring sites are <br /> contained in table 15-5 of Tab 15 and also in Exhibits 7-2, 7-3, 7-4 and <br /> Appendix 7-1 of Tab 7. The map scales (1" = 1000") are the same as that <br /> for Exhibit 7-1 should there be a need to overlay these maps. The <br /> ground surface elevations for the surface water monitoring sites have <br /> not been surveyed in. Peabody will survey in the surface water sites <br /> and include them in Appendix 15-1 on Pages 15-1-2 through 15-1-4. <br /> Comment: <br /> 2. There appear to be a number of typographical errors in Appendix H. <br /> Please rectify the following. <br /> Response: <br /> Appendix H is actually part of the 1986 Annual Hydrology Report for the <br /> Nucla and Nucla East Mining area and is not a part of the Permit <br /> Revision. <br /> Comment: <br /> a. Shouldn't the symbol identified as "Formation Parting" rightfully <br /> be entitled "Packer" on Page H-1? <br /> Response: <br /> The mistake found identified on page H-1 was corrected on existing page <br /> 15-2-1, of Tab 15 in the Permit Revision. <br /> Comment: <br /> b. The "Total Depth Drilled" should be 120' on the Monitor Well <br /> Lithologic Log for Well GW-N32, Page H-5. <br /> Response: <br /> The "Total Depth Drilled" on Page 15-2-15 of Tab 15 has been revised to <br /> read 120 feet for monitor well GW-N32. <br /> Comment: <br /> C. The Monitor Well Construction and Completion Summary (MWCCS) for <br /> Well GW-N4R should indicate that the well is located at the Nucla <br /> Mine. <br /> 4 <br />
