� INSTRUCTIONS AND <br /> DESCRIPTION OF REVISIONS <br /> The following describes the changes to be made to the Nucla Permit as a result of the <br /> submittal of this application for a permit revision (PR) for the Nucla East mining area. <br /> The first four volumes of the PR include changes and updates to the baseline studies (Tabs <br /> 1-11) to incorporate the Nucla East mining area. Upon approval of this PR, the material <br /> in these first four volumes is designed to be inserted into the appropriate tabs in <br /> Volumes 1-8 of the current 10-volume Permit Application Package (PAP). <br /> For ease of review, and in an effort to make the PAP more easily accessed, existing Tabs <br /> 12 (Operations Plan), 13 (Reclamation Plan), and 14 (Mitigation) have been reorganized <br /> into Tabs 12-26. As a part of this reorganization, some information which is currently <br /> found in baseline studies (most notably surface water control structures and topsoil <br /> handling procedures) has been relocated to these later tabs. <br /> Of importance to remember in reviewing Tabs 12-26 is that the material concerning <br /> operations in the current Nucla Mine permit area have not been modified from what is <br /> currently approved, with one exception. In most cases (with the exception of the Topsoil <br /> Balance and Bonding), reference to Mining Area 4 have been modified to reflect the changes <br /> made in Technical Revision No. 2 (Landfill exclusion area), which is pending before the <br /> Division. <br /> Also to aid the reviewer, attached please find revised Paces 4-7 of the permit form which <br /> delineates in which tabs the information can be found responding to application <br /> requirements (including an updated List of Exhibits). In addition, a cross-reference of <br /> exhibits is provided which correlate exhibits found in this PR with exhibits in the <br /> current PAP. <br /> A list of changes, by tab, follows: <br /> Tab 1 - Summarv. The revised tab replaces existing Tab 1 in its entirety. The revision <br /> includes discussion of the Nucla East mining area. <br /> Tab 2 - General Policies. Revised Pages 2-15 through 2-22 update existing Pages 2-15 <br /> through 2-21 to include those people and organizations who supplied information <br /> for this PR. <br />
