The final approval of PR -02 occurred on September 27, 2011. PR -02 added the
following eight bedrock monitoring wells to the hydrologic monitoring requirements for the
mine. NECC did not monitor the eight wells during the fourth quarter of 2011. NECC plans to
initiate monitoring of the wells during the first quarter of 2012.
