NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION <br /> The Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division has issued a proposed decision to <br /> approve a technical revision to the mining and reclamation plans for the King <br /> Coal Mine, Permit No. C-81-035, operated by National King Coal , under the <br /> provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act of 1979. The <br /> proposed technical revision (TR - 03) was submitted by National King Coal , on <br /> September 30, 1991 for the King Coal Mine. The affected area is located in <br /> portions of Sections 31 and 32 Township 35N, Range 11W in La Plata County. <br /> The subject technical revision is the expansion of the existing waste pile. <br /> Copies of the proposed technical revision are available for review at the <br /> Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division office, 1313 Sherman Street, Room <br /> 215, Denver, Colorado 80203. Any person who has an interest which is or may <br /> be adversely affected may request a formal hearing regarding this proposed <br /> decision. Requests for a formal hearing must be made in writing within ten <br /> (10) days of this publication and shall state with reasonable specificity the <br /> reasons for the request and objections to the proposed decision. <br /> HBR/eke <br /> 5284G <br />
