(CMI) on April 10, 2012
regarding the CMI Edna Mine, Discharge Permit CO- 0032638.
Enclosed is a Revised Edna Mine's NPDES/DMR for the above referenced monitoring period.
Baseline monitoring at MON 1 did not exceed any compliance criteria for the Second Semi -
Annual Event of 2011.
The omission of the Chromium, Trivalent, Potentially Dissolved parameter on the above
referenced NPDES/DMR was inadvertent. The submission of timely, complete and accurate
DMRs is vital to ensuring compliance. To correct this measure, we have implemented a Quality
Assurance and Quality Control Program, which develops a systematic approach to monitoring,
evaluating and reviewing project deliverables prior to submittal.
We appreciate the assistance of the Division in completing the NPDES/DMR. Should the
Division have any comments or concerns regarding this submittal, please contact me at your
convenience.
Sincerely,
roy Summers
Project Manager
TNS
Enclosures
File: 2011 -180
CC: CMI (Tarazoff), CDRMS (Binns) and Permit (Weinman)
