<br />Box 1430, Palisade, CO 81526,
<br />has submitted a complete appli-
<br />cation for a permit revision to
<br />the Division of Reclamation,
<br />Mining and Safety for its Road-
<br />side North and South Portals,
<br />mining permit No. C -81 -041. The
<br />proposed revision provides
<br />demonstration that sediment
<br />drainage control features at the
<br />North Portal, Cameo Refuse
<br />Disposal Areas of 1 And 2, and
<br />Cameo Borrow Areas 1 and 2
<br />are no longer necessary and
<br />seeks approval to change the fi-
<br />nal reclamation plan for Ponds 6,
<br />10, 11, 13 and other drainage
<br />features located at the North
<br />Portal and Coal Canyon. the
<br />goal of this revisions to gain
<br />approval from the Division to re-
<br />claim these drainaa a control
<br />features and make changes to
<br />the final reclamation plans
<br />The Roadside mines are lo-
<br />cated approximately three miles
<br />northeast of Palisade, CO at the
<br />interstate 70, Cameo Exit No 46.
<br />The permit area Is split east and
<br />west by the Colorado River and
<br />1 -70, and is encompassed within
<br />the following lands:
<br />T10S, R98W., 6th P.M: Sections
<br />26, 27, 28, 34, 35
<br />T11S, R98W., 6th P.M.: Sections
<br />1,2,11,12,13
<br />T11S, R97W., 61h P.M.: Section 7
<br />The location of these sections is
<br />contained within the U.S. Geo-
<br />logical Survey 7.5 minute Cameo
<br />and Palisade Quadrangle Meps.
<br />The copy of the revision appll-

<br />spection at the Mesa County
<br />Clerk and Recorder's office, 200
<br />S Spruce, Grand Junction, CO.
<br />A copy of the approved permit
<br />application document], as well as
<br />the permit revielon'application,
<br />are available at the Denver and
<br />Grand Junction offices of the
<br />Division of Reclamation, Mining

<br />Written comments, objections or
<br />a request for an informal con-
<br />ference on the proposed permit
<br />revision may be submitted to the
<br />Division of Reclamation, Mining
<br />and Safety, Denver or Grand
<br />Junction offices, and must be
<br />received by the Division within
<br />30 days after final publication of
<br />this notice. Phone inquiries
