EXHIBIT L
Reclamation Costs
Refer to the attached mine reclamation map (Exhibit F) showing the proposed gradient of all disturbed
slopes and the location of revegetation areas. It is anticipated that no ponds will be constructed or
remain on site. The anticipated average thickness of overburden is minimal. Overburden and excavated
soil materials unsuitable for road construction will be used to backfill excavated areas and for site re-
grading to stable slopes. Stockpiled topsoil will be placed on re- graded areas prior to re- seeding with
approved plant type seed mixes. Final site reclamation costs include the cost of native dry land grass
seed and mulch application.
(1) The estimated costs for Reclamation will include seeding and mulching. Per the County
Vegetation Specialist, irrigation is not required.
Reclamation Seed Mix: $196 /acre
Certified Weed -free Straw Mulch: $100 /acre
Total Reclamation Costs (Seed & Mulch): $296 /acre * 76± acres = $22,500
(2) Please refer to Seed Quote from Pawnee Buttes Seed Inc. on the following page.
