Hernandez, Alysha
From: Stark, Jim
Sent: Wednesday, October 19, 2011 1:39 PM
To: 'Nettleton, Jerry'
Cc: Hernandez, Alysha
Attachments: Williams Fork Mines Inspection Report - 12 October 2011 - Complete.pdf
Jerry,
Attached is the inspection report for the 12 October 2011 inspection. There are a few items that need to be addressed,
as discussed on the inspection. First is the access to the solid waste disposal area and the dozer slot that was cut there.
This area is for mine related waste only. Second is the erosion on the haul road on the east side of the mine just south
of the 7 -North Angle Well facility. The Division has noted this for several inspections and it appears that the erosion has
started to head cut onto the road and is worse than before. This needs to be repaired ASAP before we get into an
enforcement situation. Finally, there are a few items that need to be updated in the records check section. They are
noted at the end of the Availability of Records page.
It does look like Brian has done a job with the weed spraying the past two years. You will need to keep on top of this
next season to continue the success you are having. Please contact me if you have any questions or comments. Thanks.
James R.
