6 (FORM 2 - Public filing)
8. Describe the estimated topsoil depth and how topsoil will be salvaged, stockpiled and redistributed for the re- establishment of
vegetation. Specify approximate topsoil redistribution depth:
The topsoil at the sites is mixed with large cobbles and boulders, and has an estimated depth of
101t lu 1511 uverlying bedruck. If mud -pill ale excavated, then cull will be sluukpiled uri the
perimeter of the mud -pits to act as a berm. Upon reclamation, the soil on the perimeter of the
mud pits will be bladed back over the excavation. If slope cut/fill is needed for rig stabilization (as
dicousscd above), thcn the fill material will be plaocd book into the out clops from whence it
came. While not anticipated to occur, any and all contour disturbances from the drilling activities
will be repaired and /or backtilled to meet the slope of the sites prior to prospecting. Barren soil
on road perimeter at the drill sites (P g slnpas) will hA scarified, and sped will hA hand
broadcast, then raked in perpendicular (to prevent erosion) to the slope during the fall season
9. Describe how drill holes will be plugged (refer to Rule 5.4 of the Rules for required abandonment procedures):
Any left over cuttings or core that are not collected as an archive will be placed back down
the borehole upon abandonment or will be buried when backfilling the mud -pit. As
discussea above, drill holes will be plugged DO feet below and 50 feet above any water
Near the drill collar, drill hnles will be pluggari with cement from 5ft to 2ft (from the surface)
and will be backfilled with topsoil from 2ft to the surface
10. Describe how portals, adits, shafts, ponds, excavations, or other disturbances will be reclaimed (refer to Rule 3 and Rule 5 for
specific reclamation performance standards). You may wish to contact the Division for closure specifications.
All drilling locations and mud -pits will be backfilled, re- contoured, scarified, and re- seeded
to meet pre- existing conditions or better
11. Describe how roads will be reclaimed or returned to their pre - prospecting (or better) condition:
ingress and egress to the site and it is imperative to RAMCO that these roads are kept in
good operating condition while on site, and following the completion of prospecting
activities. Also, RAMCO and its operators will avoid making ruts deeper than 4 inches
d eep to the extent LlId l is prat, in t event that lie' UMW die uf -bite priui to iriudcl
maintenance during operations to maintain good operating condition of the roads
