September 13, 2011 C -1980 -005 /Seneca II Mine JDM <br /> <br /> <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 2 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 1 <br /> <br /> Page 4 of 6 <br /> <br />OTHER (SPECIFY): <br />This was a complete coal inspection of the Seneca II mine conducted by Jason Music k of CDRMS Scott Cowman <br />of Peabody Energy accompanied the inspection. The mine site was dry and the weather was clear. Rill and Gully <br />repair work was in progress to address erosion identified during the July SL -5 Bond Release inspections. <br /> <br />ROADS – Rule 4.03 Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) Surfacing and <br />Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) Rec lamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />The South Road access road was stable with no damage noted. <br /> <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS – Rule 4.0 2: <br />Mine ID signs were in place at the two required locations off of the South Road and at the northern portion of the <br />permit area where a ranch road meets the permit fence.. No problems were noted. <br /> <br /> <br />
