Ditch construction and rock filters are und er construction. <br />Gravel base was on site at the 16 LT site to be utilized as cover material for the pad. No problems were noted. <br /> <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLANCE: <br />The Foidel Creek mine continues to operate in the 17RT longwall panel. Construction continues on the 16LT <br />utility borehole and 15LT rock dust tank pad. One ~120 car coal train was in the process of loading at the time of <br />the inspection. NOV CV -2011 -005 was terminated on Octobe r 19, 2011. <br /> <br />OTHER (SPECIFY): <br />This was a partial coal inspection cond ucted by Jason Musick of DRMS. Jerry Nettleton of Twentymile Coal <br />accompanied the inspection. The weather was cloudy and the mine site was wet and snow covered at the time of <br />the inspection. This inspection focused on approved activities associated with the construction of the 15 LT <br />borehole pad and access road and the 16 LT borehole pad and access road. <br /> <br />ROADS – Rule 4.03 Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) Surfacing and <br />Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) Rec lam ation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />Construction of the 15 LT borehole access road continues. The road is stable and in the permitted location with no <br />problems noted. <br /> <br />Construction of the 16 LT borehole access road has neared completion. Roadside ditches are in pl ace with <br />roadside berms located on the eastern side of the road. C ulverts were located in the appropriate locations. It <br />should be noted that any differentiation from culvert design or location will require approval through the Division <br />to ensure complian ce.
