The north and south mining areas were
photographed. The site was covered with snow, and no activities were apparent in the photos. The Mine Entrance
Haul Road and Roads A and J were clear to Pond 016, all other roads were snow covered. It appeared that a
veh icle had recently travelled Haul Road s G and K , as there were tracks in the snow .
HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5,
4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water
Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8;
Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18:
Ponds 006, 016, and 017 and Stock Tanks T5, T18, T20, T26, and T27 all held water. Ponds 006, 016,
and 017 app eared to be discharging. The spoil spring at the base of PM2, draining to Pond 016 was flowing.

SLIDES and DAMAGE - Rule 4.12:
Repair of the Pond 016A slide area appears to be shut down for the season, based on the snow cover. The
excavation of the n orth slope above the former Pond 016A embankment was not yet complete It appeared that the
lower segment of PM2 was constructed to through culvert K -1 and down to Pond 016. Pond 016A had been
partially filled and regraded; there will be more excavated ma terial from the north slope that will bring the area to
final grade. The regraded slides in the vicinity of Pond 006 and the oil well road all appeared to be stable, with no
slumps or cracks apparent. It looked like two trench drains had been excavated a long the Pit Ramp slide, but it
was not apparent whether the drains were in their final configuration.
