This <br />site was approved in TR -73 and is not within the jurisdiction of the permitted mine area. The generator pad area <br />will be monitored by the Division for any impact to the permitted area. <br />PROCESSING WASTE /COAL MINE WASTE PILES —Rule 4.10 and 4.11 Drainage Control; Surface <br />Stabilization; Placement: <br />The II West Coal Refuse Pile was being compacted at the time of this inspection (photo 3). The pile <br />appeared to be stable. <br />ROADS — Rule 4.03 Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) Surfacing and <br />Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />All haul roads and access roads were dry, well maintained and passable. A water truck was spraying the <br />east yard haul road. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br />The footings for the additional fan at the Bear Creek Fansite were in place and backfilled and the site is <br />clean. <br />TOPSOIL — Rule 4.06 Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; <br />Redistribution 4.06.4: <br />The salvaged topsoil from the methane electricity generator was being stored on the topsoil stockpile east <br />of the Elk Creek Fan.
