Pineda <br />Director <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, <br />Article 33, Section 116, Paragraph 4, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on April 6, 2012 an <br />application to revise coal mining operations at the Trapper Mine was considered complete for the <br />purposes of filing. The revision was submitted by Trapper Mining, Inc.. All review and comment <br />periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. <br />The revision consists of Trapper Mine's 2011 Annual Hydrology and Reclamation Report. <br />The Surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 6 miles Southwest of Craig, <br />Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows: <br />Portions of Sections 1, 2, and 3, Township 5 North, Range 91 West of the 6th P.M. <br />Portions of Sections 30 and 31, Township 6th North, Range 90 West of the 6th P.M. <br />Portions of Sections 25, 26, 28, 33, 34, 35, and 36, Township 6 North, Range 91 West of the 6th <br />P.M. <br />The above - mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Castor <br />Gulch. <br />The applicant is required to publish notice in a local newspaper that this application has been <br />deemed complete. At the time of publication of this notice, the applicant is additionally required to <br />place a copy of this application at the Moffat County Clerk and Recorder, 221 W Victory Way, <br />Craig, CO 81625, and at the Division office.
