The weather was clear and the ground was dry. <br /> <br />Present during the inspection were: Rena Brand of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; George Patterson of Energy <br />Fuels Coal Inc.; Jim Mossman, a consultant for Energy Fuels; and Kent Crofts, another consultant for Energy <br />Fuels. Ms. Brand was visiting the site to make a Jurisdictional Determination. <br /> <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, <br />4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring <br />4.05.13; Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4 .05.18: <br />At the loadout, the pond has been drained of water, except for a small amount, and the embankment has been <br />b reached. Straw wattles were in place below the breached portion of the embankment. If the pond is not filled in <br />soon, the dam will need to be rebuilt. <br /> <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLANCE: <br />The mine was found to be in gener al compliance with the permit. <br /> <br /> <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br />The parcels at the mine site and th e loadout appeared to be in good condition as no erosion, large weed patches, or <br />large bare areas were observed. Some tire tracks were seen, due to vehicle access to the pond work, but do not <br />appear to be a problem as no large ruts were seen. <br />
