It is not known if access to the site was for water sampling, hunting, or other reasons. <br /> <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures <br />4.05.7, 4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.0 5.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br />Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> <br />Due to the cold weather (well below freezing), no snow melt runoff was observed during the inspection. <br /> <br />The Moff at Ditch (which flows into the northeast side of Moffat Pond) and downdrains 1, 2, and 4 were inspected. No problems were <br />observed. <br /> <br />Three ponds were inspected: Moffat Pond, Center Ridge Pond, and West Ridge Pond. Moffat Pond and Center Ridge Pond were s lowly <br />discharging. The water flowing from both ponds is clear. There was a sulfuric smell from the discharge at the Moffat Pond. The primary <br />spillway for West Ridge Pond contains ice, but there is no flowing water. No problems were observed with any of the embankments or <br />other pond features. <br /> <br />No problems were identified with the terraces and check dams in the West Ridge area. <br /> <br /> <br />
