The north and south mining areas were
photographed. The site was covered with a thin layer of snow; the brome clumps were still visible. There were no
signs of any reclamation or maintenance act ivity , but there had been vehicular traffic around the facilities area and
near the Pit Ramp slide area.
HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5,
4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water
Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8;
Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18:
Pond 005 held water and the surface was frozen over, but it did appear to be discharging. Ponds 006 and
016 and Stock Tanks T5, T18, and T20 all held water and were frozen over.

SLIDES and DAMAGE - Rule 4.12:
The Pit Ramp slide was covered in snow, but the scarp looked stable and it appeared that two toe drains
had been excav ated through the slide material. The Pond 016/Pond 016A slide remediation area was covered in
snow. It did not appear as if the operator had been able to do any more earthwork since the area was photographed
in November 2011. It appeared that drainage w ould be routed, either through temporary channels or the portions
of the channels that have been completed, to Pond 016.

DOCUMENTS RECEIVED
OTHER (SPECIFY)
