The weather was seasonably warm and clear (although no snowmelt runoff was observed), and the ground was partially covered with snow. HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 Culverts at the mine site were observed and no problems were identified. At the loadout, the pond has been filled with soil. There was no sign of erosion at or near the pond area. At the time of the inspection no water was flowing from the pond area; the weather was too cold for significant melting. Silt fence and straw wattles were in place where the former pond area drains (the northwest corner). No problems were identified with these BMPs. GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLANCE: The mine was found to be in general compliance with the permit. ROADS – Rule 4.03 Roads at the mine site and the loadout were in good condition. RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3 The two remaining parcels at the mine site and the reclaimed area at the loadou t appeared to be in good condition as no erosion, large weed patches, or large bare areas were observed. S IGNS AND MARKERS – Rule 4.02 The entrance signs was observed and found to be in compliance.
