The weather was seasonably warm and clear (although <br />no snowmelt runoff was observed), and the ground was partially covered with snow. <br /> <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Culverts at the mine site were observed and no problems were identified. <br /> <br />At the loadout, the pond has been filled with soil. There was no sign of erosion at or near the pond area. At the <br />time of the inspection no water was flowing from the pond area; the weather was too cold for significant melting. <br />Silt fence and straw wattles were in place where the former pond area drains (the northwest corner). No problems <br />were identified with these BMPs. <br /> <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLANCE: <br />The mine was found to be in general compliance with the permit. <br /> <br />ROADS – Rule 4.03 <br />Roads at the mine site and the loadout were in good condition. <br /> <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3 <br />The two remaining parcels at the mine site and the reclaimed area at the loadou t appeared to be in good condition <br />as no erosion, large weed patches, or large bare areas were observed. <br /> <br />S IGNS AND MARKERS – Rule 4.02 <br />The entrance signs was observed and found to be in compliance. <br />
