The smaller 8.5 x 11 map depicts the areas within quarter quarter sections
that contain all or portions of the proposed Mine Life Extension 2 (MLE2) permit area. Yellow highlighted areas
have at least some portion of the MLE2 permit boundary within the quarter quarter section. Areas with pink
diagonal lines indicate all of the quarter quarter section is within the MLE2 permit boundary. The larger 11 x 17
map is a copy of a portion of a large format map submitted by the Applicant. This map depicts the MLE2 permit
boundary using a purple "dash- dot -dot" line. The solid purple line depicts a 200 -foot offset from the permit
boundary.
Please note that I have not yet compared the MLE2 boundary with the existing permit boundary. As such, I cannot
say whether there is a proposed change in the permit boundary in the vicinity of Galen Hill as part of this
amendment application.
If you have any questions, please contact me (303- 866 -3567 ext. 8169).
Sincerely,
Timothy A.
