February 8, 2012 <br />State of Colorado <br />Department of Natural Resources <br />691 CR 233, Suite A-2 <br />Durango, CO 81301 <br />Attention: Marcia Talvitie <br />RE: Permit #C81-035, King I &, King 11 Mines <br />5 Year Permit Renewal 2012 <br />Dear Ms. Talvitie: <br />In response to your letter of November 17, 2011, GCC Energy, LLC hereby requests <br />that Mining Permit #C -1981 -035 be renewed for a term of 5 years. <br />Please find enclosed an application form, Renewal of a Valid, Existing Permit to <br />Conduct Mining In Colorado, a copy of a proposed newspaper notice to be placed in <br />the Durango Herald newspaper, and a copy of the current liability insurance policy. <br />As you know, the permit application package is split into separate volumes for the <br />King I mine and the King 11 mine.
