1861 - FIRST_ LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY..,._ <br />1866 - SECOND TO SIXTH ASSEMBLIES <br />1868- SEVENTH A» sz e'_7 <br />a7n_ tif;HTW ASSFYBLY <br />vVI II wiry Uce I I I I w.V ryI II I <br />by act of Congress on February <br />1861, It was formed out of land to <br />from the territories of Nebraska, UP <br />Kansas, and New Mexico. <br />Colorado was divided into seventy <br />counties, including Pueblo, at the tee <br />tory s First Legislative Assembly <br />November 1861. <br />The southern boundory of Puel <br />County then was roughly the Arkan <br />River, with Huerfono County to the Sc <br />The Arapahoe and Cheyenne reserve! <br />by Treaty of Fort Wise in February IE <br />- bord ered Pueblo County on the - - e - c <br />until a revised treaty was signed <br />October 1865. <br />The reservation was abandoned, c <br />-port of the land was added to Pue <br />County, extending the boundary to <br />Kansas line.
