St. Jude Mine <br />• Diversion ditch at the top of the mine site above the portal was repaired and cleaned to a depth of at <br />least 3feet. <br />• A basin located at the bottom of the development rock on the east side was cleaned and enlarged to at <br />least 40 feet by 150 feet and 4 feet deep. <br />• A basin located at the bottom of the development rock pile on the west side was constructed to at least <br />30 feet by 100 feet and 4 feet deep. <br />• All berms at the bottom of the development rock were repaired and extended as necessary to contain <br />any runoff and direct towards the catch basins. <br />Carnation Mine <br />• The pond northwest of the portal along the access road was brought to a depth of at least 3.5 feet. <br />• Berms at the mine site and around the waste piles were repaired where needed. <br />Sunday Mine <br />This memorandum shows the work conducted and completed at the Sunday Complex on drainage <br />improvements for 2008. <br />CAW/ <br />• The berm at the top of the development rock was repaired and brought to a height of at least 3.5 feet. <br />• At the east entrance to the mine, a catch basin was cleaned and improved to an area of at least 45 feet <br />wide by 150 feet long and a depth of at least 5feet. <br />• The basin at the bottom of the development rock on the north side was enlarged and improved to a <br />capacity of at least 60 feet by 400 feet and 4.5 feet deep. <br />• Berms along an access road leading to the low grade stock piles on the east side of the mine site were <br />connected and brought to a height of at least 1.5 feet. <br />• Catch ponds at the top of the mine site were cleaned of sediment. <br />DENISONr) A A <br />MINES <br />
