So I am in the process of reviewing all of those quarterly reports.
I have reviewed the 3Q11 DMR's. Thank you for your prompt submittal of the DMR's. There were only two ponds that
discharged during this reporting period, outfall 007A (the wastewater treatment pond) and 011A (the mine water to
Sylvester Gulch pond). There were no recorded exceedences for either of these pond discharges.
Outfalls 004A (MB -2R), 005A (MB -3), 008A (MB -4), 009A (MB -5), 012A (mine water to Minnesota Creek), 013A (mine
water to Lone Pine Gulch), 014A (SG -1), 015A (RPE Pond), 016A (MB -1), 017A (MWTF), 018A (borehole sediment pond
to Sylvester Gulch) and 019A (NSSA Pond) did not discharge during the third quarter 2011 reporting period.
The Division does not have any questions or comments regarding the 3Q11 DMR's. Please contact me if you have any
questions. Thanks and have a good day.
James R Stark
Environmental Protection Specialist
Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety
Colorado Department of Natural Resources
(303) 866 -3567 X8145
www.mining.state.co.us
