Compliance With Mine Plan - Support Facilities Not On-site <br />NANA <br /> - Other - Special Categories Of Mining <br />YN <br /> - Processing Waste - Topsoil <br /> <br /> <br />COMMENTS <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION: <br />This was an aerial inspection of the Munger Canyon Mine conducted by Harry Ranney of the Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DRMS). Aerial photographs were taken on March 16, 2012 at approximately <br />12:01 p.m. Seven photographs were taken during the flyover. Mike Boulay of the DRMS reviewed the aerial <br />photographs. <br /> <br />Weather conditions appeared to be clear and sunny at the time of the flight. There is no activity discernible in any <br />of the site photos. The reclaimed portal bench access road and backfilled portal areas are visible in the <br />photographs. The waste disposal area, cover soil pile, and sediment pond were also visible in the photographs. <br />An overview of the site is shown in attached Photograph No. 1. The majority of the site is visible in this photo. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, <br />4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring <br />4.05.13; Drainage Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />Most of the mine site was free of snow cover. The mine bench area appears stable. The reclaimed hill slope and <br />riprap channels along the entire length of the formal portal access road appeared to be in very good condition with <br />no evidence of slides or other damage.
