The following comments still need attention:
Rule 2.04.3 Site Description and Land Use Information
5. Item Resolved.
6. Item Resolved:
Rule 2.04.10 — Vegetation Information
1. In response to this question, WFC proposes a Dryland Pasture diversity standard on revised
page 2.04.10 -4, which is based on the Dryland Pasture Reference Area. The number of species
that would be required for bond release is the number of species contributing more than 5%
cover in the reference area. According to the provided data, the reference area has less
diversity than the baseline vegetation of the pre- disturbed area. The data provided from the
reference area indicates that there is one species contributing greater than 5% cover, the sub -
shrub broom snakeweed. This standard set by the reference area does not truly reflect the
agricultural postmining land use of the reclaimed dryland pasture. The Division believes the
diversity standard suggested below is achievable with the aggressive and persistent species
used in the dryland pasture seed mix (Seed Mix #8) and will Meet the diversity standard
requirement of Rule 4.15 .8 (5). Please replace the proposed diversity standard with the
suggested standard below.
In Dryland Pasture, the species diversity it)ill comprise at least 3 species
contributing at least s% relative cover, one of the species i0ll he a desirable
