US'; Brown, Sandy
Subject: TR -65
Hi Jim
The purpose of this e -mail is to inform you that the Division has not received any comments or requests for a
formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board on the proposed decision for Technical Revision No.
65 (TR -65). The Notice of Proposed Decision was published in the Delta County Independent June 23, 2010.
The revision was effective as of 5 pm on July 3, 2010 (10 -days after the publication).
This Technical Revision provides for the addition of as many as thirty -three gob vent boreholes at the Elk Creek
Mine. Twenty -seven drill pads and associated temporary, light use roads will be installed; the boreholes will
be fitted with pumps for mine ventilation, and eventually reclaimed. Our decision to approve TR -65 has
become final. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
m
Michael P.
