I have been out of the office most of the past 3 weeks, so please pardon the delay in my reply to your questions. Northfield Mine is an approved application. The application was approved on March 8, 2008. The permittee has not posted a reclamation bond, so the Northfield project is not an approved permit at this point in time. Recent drilling activity on the area was approved under exploration permit: X2005-226-00, approved March 11, 2005. Amendment 1 added 4 holes and was approved March 20, 2007. Amendment 2 added 9 additional holes, and was approved November 10, 2011. The Division has received and approved appropriate bond for the exploration permit, and amendments 1 & 2. The alluvial water monitoring wells have not yet been drilled. I will need to research your other questions further. But Northfield partners have not submitted a reclamation bond for the Northfield application yet, so disturbances associated with the approved application cannot be conducted yet. Only disturbances approved in the exploration permit may currently be conducted.
