Summary: <br />MINED LAND RECLAMATION BOARD 110(2) ANNUAL REPORT <br />I operated mechanized equipment at Topaz Mountain Gem Mine a total of 20 days between 25 <br />Apr and 8 Oct 2011. I used a backhoe for 6 days and a small track hoe for 14 days. Additionally, <br />I used a mechanical shaker on and off throughout the season. Digging by hand occurred <br />throughout the season between 2 Apr and 8 Oct. Numerous unauthorized diggers continue to <br />mineral trespass and dig holes throughout the season when I am not present on site. <br />Inspections: <br />Mr. David Bird of the Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety inspected Topaz Mountain <br />Gem Mine on 23 Sep 2011. No discrepancies were noted. <br />Map Depicting 2011 Operations: <br />Attached is a map depicting current and existing disturbances on Rubeck Placer and Rubeck <br />Placer No. 2 claims. Current and existing disturbances are indicated by red -dotted lines. <br />Current Disturbances 2011: <br />For Season 2011 <br />TOPAZ MOUNTAIN GEM MINE <br />PERMIT NO. M- 2002 -003 <br />lO March 2012 <br />Site B/C was expanded to a total disturbance of 0.62 acre. Previous disturbances total an <br />additional 0.92 acre. Again, approximately an additional 1,500 square feet was disturbed by <br />unauthorized mineral trespass. Total disturbance not reclaimed is 1.54 acres of 4.5 permitted <br />acres. <br />Reclamation Accomplished to Date (Including 2011 Reclamation): <br />Approximately 2,000 square feet of current disturbances is reclaimed. <br />There is approximately 8,000 square feet (0.18 acre) total of unauthorized dig sites which will be <br />reclaimed as I continue mining. These are in an area where topsoil was previously removed in <br />preparation for mining All topsoil has been stored and these disturbances are all within the <br />permit site. <br />Reclamation Accomplished during 2011: <br />No new reclamation was accomplished in 2011. <br />Proposed 2012 Operations <br />
