Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site NA -Other N - Special Categories Of Mining NA -Processing Waste N -Topsoil COMMENTS This was a partial inspection of the Seneca IIW Mine based on aerial photographs of the site taken by Harry Ranney of DRMS and reviewed by Susan Burgmaier of DRMS. Most of the snow has melted off of the lower elevation areas and south facing slopes. The upper reaches of the south mining block were still snow covered. There were no signs of activity at the site. HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05-Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10;Diversions 4.05.4;Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13;Drainage—Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: Ponds 006, 016, 017 and Stock Tanks T1,T2,T5,T18,T20,T25, and T26 all held water. It was not apparent whether any of the ponds were discharging. SLIDES and DAMAGE-Rule 4.12: All of the areas photographed appeared to be stable. The repaired slide areas around Pond 006, 016,the reclaimed pit ramp road, and the Mine Entrance Haul Road all looked stable with no signs of any recent movement. ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS/COMPLIANCE No enforcement activities were initiated as a result of this inspection,nor are any pending.
