A significant amount of backfill material has been placed at the northern <br />end of F Pit. This material has been graded to blend in with the topography of the site. TMI is continuing to <br />backfill spoils at the southern end of the pit. <br /> <br />The Ash Pit disposal area was observed. Newly placed ash was observed in a row of piles at the top of the Ash <br />Pit. These piles are graded out into a flat bench. A portion of the top of the Ash Pit has been graded to blend in <br />with the surrounding topography. <br /> <br />EXCESS SPOIL and DEVELOPMENT WASTE <br /> Rule 4.09; Placement; Drainage Control; Surface <br />Stabilization: <br />Horse Gulch fill was inspected. Both of the side channels were flowing and appeared stable. The toe of the French <br />drain protrudes at the base of the fill. The Division walked to the first bench of the fill, the toe drain at the back of <br />the bench was stable and snow covered.
