RE: Augmentation Water Lease for Weld County (January 2012 - March 2013)
Dear Mr. Bauer,
We are in receipt of Weld County's augmentation water requirement schedule for 2012. To meet Weld County
augmentation demands, Greeley will make available to Weld County wholly consumable water that has been changed for
augmentation use.
The request totals 206.91 acre -feet for replacements from January 2012 through March 2013, as shown below.
Augmentation water shall be available per the following schedule provided to the City of Greeley by Clear Water
Solutions, Inc.
*Amounts for these months have already been included in the May 27, 2011 Updated Augmentation Lease Letter
Per the perpetual lease agreement, Greeley shall adjust the delivery fee annually beginning with deliveries in the
2006 calendar year. Using the Consumer Price Index ("CPI") for the Denver/Boulder area, the increase to be applied this
year is 3.83 %. This results in a delivery charge of $75.83 per acre -foot, or a $2.80 /acre -foot increase from last year. Total
cost for delivery for the 206.91 acre -feet is $15,689.99 and payment is due January 5, 2012. Please follow the payment
instructions on the attached invoice.
Please be aware that it is Weld County's responsibility to receive necessary approval to use the leased
augmentation supplies provided by Greeley.
