March 13, 2012 C- 1992- 081/Hayden Gulch Loadout JLE <br />inspected from a vehicle from County Road 37. Many of the culverts along the rail spur were visible from the <br />road and appeared to be clear and functioning. <br />The Truck Loop Pond was holding water and was ice covered. The side slopes were stable and vegetated. The <br />pond was not discharging. <br />The Rail Loop Pond was holding water, but was not discharging at the time of the inspection. The side slopes of <br />the pond appeared to be stable. <br />ROADS — Rule 4.03; Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3), Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4), Surfacing and <br />Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6), Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />All of the haul roads were inspected; they have been graded and maintained. <br />SLIDES and DAMAGE - Rule 4.12: <br />There is a steep slope were topsoil from topsoil stockpile 42 was taken across the rail spur to the loadout facilities <br />area. A small rill has formed on this slope. This rill will need to be monitored and repaired in the future. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br />The facilities area was inspected and no problems were observed. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS — Rule 4.02: <br />Mine entrance signs were inspected at the County Road 53 and 37 entrances. These signs are in compliance. <br />The topsoil stockpiles were marked with metal signs. <br />TOPSOIL — Rule 4.06; Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; <br />Redistribution 4.06.4: <br />Topsoil stockpiles 41 and 92 were inspected. Both of these stockpiles were utilized for the reclamation of the <br />former Loadout facilities area. The stockpile areas have been graded and they appeared stable. <br />Along the Tie Across Haul Road, topsoil stockpile A was inspected. The stockpile was stable and well vegetated. <br />The perimeter ditch around the stockpile was functioning. Two outfall areas on the southern corners of the <br />stockpile were inspected and were stable and functioning. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 6 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 3 <br />Page 3 of 5 <br />
