EMP -21 will be constructed on the west - facing slope next to the Schist - Island pit. <br />It will not encroach on the historic buffer, but will be visually exposed. Special attention <br />toward its aesthetic appeal may be desired when it is constructed. <br />EMP -22 will not be required until the final years of mine production. The <br />preliminary design provides the volume for a terminal structure. There are two <br />tributaries of the stream, of which EMP -22 will intercept only the southwest drainage <br />from the mine.
