Wildcat Mining Corporation
March 7, 2012
2. Phase 1, Task 2 states that approximately 2,300 yds. of the collapsed material will be
removed from the portals and hauled to the May Day No. 2 bench. The area labeled
Stockpile Area for May Day No. 1 Collapse Material on Figure 3 (May Day No. 2
Stockpile Area) depicts a square area with sides approximately 30 feet in length. The
area does not appear sufficient for storage of the 2,300 yds. of material to be removed
from the May Day No. 1 site. Please address this issue and show that the removed
material will be stored in places and stable configurations that will minimize erosion of
the stockpiled material and/or sedimentation of Little Deadwood Gulch.
Please feel free to contact me, regarding any questions or concerns you may have, at the Division
of Reclamation, Mining and Safety Grand Junction Field Office.
zapla
Environmental Protection Specialist
Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety
101 South 3' Suite 301
Grand Junction, CO 81501
Phone: (970) 243 -6299
Ec: Steve Shuey, DRMS, GJFO
Bence Close, EnviroGroup Limited
